Richard Joyner

Richard is Head of Central U.S. Advisory at AlTi Tiedemann Global and serves as Interim President of Tiedemann Trust Company. In this dual role, he provides strategic leadership across the Central U.S. region while overseeing trust administration and fiduciary services, ensuring continuity, excellence, and a client-first culture.

Richard joined AlTi Tiedemann Global after two decades leading a regional multi-family office, where he shaped firm strategy, built and mentored high-performing teams, and oversaw the delivery of comprehensive services to more than 200 families. In addition to his leadership experience, he has spent much of his career as a trusted advisor to multi-generational families of wealth.

Earlier in his career, Richard was a Partner at Ernst & Young, where he led the firm’s personal financial counseling practice for the Southwest Area.

A graduate of Wake Forest University, Richard holds several professional designations, including Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®), Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®), and Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He has received numerous professional awards over the course of his career, including multiple recognitions by Barron’s Magazine. Richard also serves as an Advisory Board Member of the Ultra High Net Worth Institute, a nonprofit dedicated to educating advisors and families.
