Stephen Yarad

Stephen has extensive financial services experience spanning more than three decades. Most recently, he served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer at New York Stock Exchange listed MFA Financial for more than 10 years. Prior to joining MFA, he was an audit partner in the New York financial services practice of KPMG. Stephen began his career with KPMG in Australia in 1991 and has served several of the firm’s largest global financial services clients in Asia-Pacific, Europe and North America.

Stephen holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from the University of New South Wales and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia. He is a licensed CPA in New York and New Jersey, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
