Michael Fastert

Michael oversees global operations for AlTi’s Asset Management division. Prior to the transaction that created AlTi, Michael was the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Legal Officer of TIG Advisors LLC, as well as a partner of the firm, and was responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and supervising the legal and compliance department. Earlier in his career, he worked for Seward & Kissel LLP, representing and advising clients in the formation and distribution of domestic and offshore hedge funds, master-feeder funds and fund of funds pursuant to U.S. federal and state securities law.

Michael holds a B.B.A. in Finance from the College of William & Mary and a J.D. from Boston College Law School.
