A comprehensive offering

General services:

  • Family Office Administration
    “Single Point of Contact” role for a family, coordinating collaborative work with tax, estate, insurance, legal and other advisors. Annual Plan for the family combined with task/execution management including tax document/compliance coordination, management of intra-family notes and entities. Leverage global network to find and often vet needed external expertise. Research, support and oversight of special projects as needed.
  • Document Storage
    Secure analog and cloud-based storage, including customized access for each family member and cybersecurity for all legal documents, records and history.

Family finances:

  • Budgeting and Cash flow Planning
    Annual budget preparation and analysis for all entities, combined with cash-flow management matching outflows (e.g., living costs, one-time purchases, capital calls) with inflows (e.g., fund distributions, liquidity events and investment income).
  • Bill Pay
    Bill processing and payment customized to the family’s needs. Bookkeeping services for partnerships, LLCs, foundations and small businesses, including tax tracking, reporting of receipts and distributions, and invoice review and variance analysis. Vendor management and oversight including preparation and delivery of tax information documents.
  • Tax Planning and Coordination
    Complete coordination with third-party accountants, including tracking and delivering all supporting tax documentation and processing all tax payments. Also includes tracking and reporting of charitable and non-charitable gifting, cost basis information, capital loss carry-forwards and partnership income.
  • Personal Accounting and Net Worth Reporting
    Customized consolidated statements of Net Worth, including Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and P&L on all family assets (not just those we manage). Creation of a custom wealth report using our proprietary tool. Fixed asset and depreciation tracking.

Business services:

  • Entity Creation and Financial Modeling
    Setup of LLCs and other entities for the family as needed. Creation of financial models (e.g., long-term financial plan, estate strategy, consolidate position analysis, debt analysis). Coordination of required filings across various state agencies.
  • HR, Payroll and Benefits
    Third-party Professional Employer Organization (PEO) management to handle all payroll needs. Working relationship with client employees, timesheet and payroll processing, and archival of all documentation. Coordination of benefits for employees and owners and verification of proper employee policies and procedures.

Other assets and activities:

  • Oversight of Trust Administration
    Back-office support to individual trustees, including financial tracking and reporting, cash-flow administration and document management.
  • Private Foundation Management & Grantmaking
    Assistance with annual grant calculations and grant payment processing. Bookkeeping and reporting for private foundations. Coordination with third-party CPAs for tax filings and audit compliance.
  • Property Coordination
    Vendor relationship management, including with onsite property managers. Review and payment of contractor and construction billings. Reports on individual property operational costs and construction projects.
